MACCA MAKES IT TO 250!

James McElligott made it to a huge milestone in his South Park Reigate career when he played for the 250th time in the 3-2 victory on the weekend against Guernsey. “Macca” as he is known has represented the first team since 2014-2015 and has remained for most of his career apart from spells at Horley Town and Horsham.

A versatile footballer who has played with distinction at full back, wing back and winger. He even showed his ability when pushed up front when he scored a brace against AFC Croydon Athletic a few weeks back.

His loyalty to the club is clear as a local lad who has strong ties to the club through his dad Joe, who is the current Director of Football and former Manager.

Macca has participated in some of the biggest games in South Park history, notably in the 2nd round of the FA Trophy when we visited Tranmere Rovers in 2017 and more recently in 2023 when we visited Hereford in the third round of the same competition.

Well done Macca from everyone at South Park Reigate FC!
