100 FOR DANNY BRACKEN!
Local man, Danny Bracken made his 100th appearance for South Park Reigate in yesterday's semi-final against Epsom & Ewell. This has been achieved in under two seasons demonstrating his commitment and resilience.
Danny had previously represented South Park whilst playing for the South Park Manor Cricket team for many seasons.
Football has always been his first love. A massive West Ham Utd fan like his dad, he attended many games at Upton Park before his own career took off. He had a spell at the Hammers academy. Danny's men’s football career began in 2009-10 with a short spell at Tooting & Mitcham Utd on loan from Sutton Utd. In 2011 he joined Corinthian Casuals. What followed was eleven seasons, 506 games and achievement of club legend status ending in 2022. The highlights saw promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division and a tour of Brazil in 2015, culminating in a fixture versus the world famous Corinthians when Danny was Captain.
In 2023 he joined his local team, South Park Reigate, the highlight so far being winning the Surrey Senior Cup in 2024. Hopefully he will be making another 100 appearances in the coming seasons. Great work mate!
